About Us

The Madison-Grant district has been in place since the late 1960s when the district serving Fairmount, Indiana, merged with an adjacent district. Now we serve roughly 1,500 students from the communities of Fairmount, Fowlerton, and Summitville, as well as from the rural towns of Alexandria, Elwood, Jonesboro, Orestes, Rigdon, and Point Isabelle. As a member of the Indiana Coalition of Quality Schools, we’re dedicated to providing top-quality education and serving our community with pride.
